Japanese Government Scholarships for Postgraduate Students

The Government of Japan through MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology) offers scholarships for international students to study in graduate courses at Japanese universities as research students (either non-degree or degree)under the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program.

These scholarships are offered to foreign students who wish to study at Japanese universities as postgraduate research students to deepen their understanding of the Japanese language, Japanese affairs and Japanese culture under the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship Program.
